Hiking the Appalachian Trail

1.      Hiking Appalachian Trail 45 miles in North Georgia:

On this Adventure we will be in the north Georgia area and will  be leaving our vehicle parked at the start of the southern end of the Appalachian Trail. Once we park the vehicle we will walk about 200 feet and step into “God’s Wild Creation.” Our group will hike an average of 5 to 6 hours a day, with plenty of breaks, and at the end of each day we will sleep in a trail shelter or in the open. We will be in “Survival Mode” for 4 days/4 nights and everything you will need is carried in your backpack. During the 45 mile hike we will see some of the most beautiful scenery created that is only seen by those who hike the trail. If you are an Adventure Seeker that likes to be in the Wilderness for days at a time while in “Survival Mode” this Adventure is for you.

If you have never stood on top of a mountain cliff and looked out over God’s Creation with nothing insight except tall mountains and tree’s then this is an Adventure that will give you that experience. Imagine standing on that cliff with the wind blowing past you while you look out to a 360 degree that goes for as far as the eye can see. You can yell out as loud as you can while you bang your fist on your chest and truly know that you are “Conquering the Wilderness.”

Total amount of days travel and adventure: 5 days/5 nights
